Wanna get to know your trees a little better with winter tree ID? It may be surprising, but winter is an excellent time for learning tree and shrub identification. Join us for a free tree identification walk in Springside Park on Saturday, December 10, at 10:00 AM!

Participants will learn to identify trees throughout all seasons by taking a closer look at features that often get overlooked — such as buds, bark, and tree structure.

It’s FREE and open to the public. Anybody is welcome to come along, but the number of participants is limited. RSVP to receive information on where to meet.

BE PREPARED: Dress for winter weather – dress in layers and wear winter shoes with thick socks. The walk will last approximately 1.5 hours and will be stop-and-go and outside the entire time. Please dress for the weather.
