Solving the Winter Energy Problem – Webinar
October 27, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Year after year, ISO New England (New England’s regional electric grid operator) announces the region may have inadequate energy supplies to power the entire electric system without blackouts during the winter. This leaves New Englanders stuck in a Groundhog Day scenario, asking: if this threat to the region’s electric grid happens every year, why hasn’t it been fixed by now? Join Acadia Center’s own Amy Boyd and Melissa Birchard as they pull back the curtain on this question and present the clean energy solutions we can look towards to finally solve this problem.
Date: Thursday, October 27
Time: 11 AM
Location: Zoom
