Sheep Hill Birding: Summer Residents

Join Williamstown Rural Land for a leisurely birding experience at Sheep Hill (671 Cold Spring Rd., Williamstown) on July 13 from 7:30 – 9 a.m. with former Audubon chapter president and Williamstown local Tommy Richey. Start at the farmhouse – looking for birds in the willows around Josiah’s Pond and the wetlands boardwalk before continuing a short way (< 0.25 miles) along the Sheep Hill trails. Target birds include yellow warbler, baltimore oriole, eastern kingbird, american kestrel and field sparrow. Open to any level of birder – absolute beginner to expert!
