Making Paper from Invasive Plants

In this workshop, you will be introduced to making paper with invasive plants, specifically Japanese Knotweed, Garlic Mustard, and Honeysuckle. We will review plant identification, safe collection methods, and how to process fibers for paper-making. Then, you will be able to make sheets of paper using the Western and Nepalese paper-making styles and get to bring your new sheets of paper home to dry! (Paper-making is wet, so please wear clothes that can get wet.)

FEE: $15 — A limited number of scholarships are available.
