Lenox Funds for Home Repairs ­- Evening Information Session Scheduled

Homeowners interested in applying for funding available from the Lenox and Lee regional housing rehabilitation program grant for home repairs can get further details at an evening session on Tuesday, February 27 at the Lenox Community Center at 6pm. Select Bd. member Marybeth Mitts and Dawn Lemon, Housing Rehab Manager, will be available to answer questions and provide assistance with the pre-applications for the program which features a 0% interest, deferred, forgivable loan.

Funds can be utilized for critical home repairs including, but not limited to, electrical, heating, and plumbing work, minor structural repairs, roof and siding, as well as insulation and window replacements, and handicap accessibility improvements.

Pre-applications are available online (townoflenox.com) and at the Lenox Town Hall, Library, Community Center, and Morris Elementary and Lenox Memorial Middle and High Schools.
