Few animals can change entire landscapes like beavers can. The American Beaver is an incredible wetland engineer and can be found throughout Massachusetts transforming their habitats. This online presentation will cover beaver family life, lodge and dam maintenance, range, and how they contribute to the biodiversity of open spaces. Skip Lisle, owner and operator of Beaver Deceivers LLC, will also discuss beaver conservation, and how and why people peacefully co-exist with these fascinating animals.
