December 8, 6PM-7:30PM

The next Housatonic CCC Meeting will take place on Wednesday December 8, 2021 at 6PM via Zoom. These are meetings with the US Environmental Protection Agency, various town and environmental organizational leaders, and the public. Representatives from the General Electric Company (GE) are supposed to attend these meetings, but they haven’t participated in a long time.

At these meetings, you can learn about what is happening in regard to the removal of PCBs from the “Rest of River” (from Fred Garner Park in Pittsfield to Long Island Sound). Find out what is happening with the appeal process, what GE has been doing to test areas of the river and floodplain for PCB levels, and what will happen next.
