Wednesday, January 19th @ 1:00 p.m. — 2:30 p.m.

There is an upcoming virtual Ozone Transportation Commission (OTC)  stakeholder meeting scheduled later this month on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 1:00pm – 2:30pm.  The OTC and Stationary Area Sources (SAS) will present information on a recent study of municipal waste combustor (MWC) oxides of nitrogen emissions in the Ozone Transportation Region.

Each state (Massachusetts, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia) compiled a list of its municipal waste combustors with characteristics (size, technology, emission controls, design, permit or RACT limits, etc.). Your input is needed to assist with developing an OTC Memorandum of Understanding on additional MWC emissions control measures.
