Join the Housatonic Valley Association (HVA) to paddle from Pittsfield to Lenox on the beautiful Housatonic River to kick off the 2024 Celebrate Our Watershed Event. The group will meet at 10:30 am at Fred Garner Park in Pittsfield, MA, at which point we will shuttle vehicles to our takeout location – Decker Boat Ramp, Lenox, MA.

The paddle will start with a kick-off event at Fred Garner Park, highlighting conservation success in the area. We will put on the water shortly after the kick-off event. The paddle is expected to take 3-4 hours (water level dependent). Participants will receive an email from Julia Rogers, HVA’s Senior Land Protection Manager (jrogers@hvatoday.org), before the event with all the logistics and details. HVA reserves the right to cancel the event if needed.
