A TOWER OF REMEMBRANCE 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Free for all ages. This Memorial Day Weekend explore and honor the story of Mount Greylock’s historic Massachusetts Veterans War Memorial Tower. This 93-foot tall monument, crowned with a beacon light, is the Commonwealth’s tribute to those who gave their lives in the service of their country. The tour also highlights $2 million restoration efforts, upgrades, energy conservation and new visitor amenities. Tour duration is 30 minutes. Meet on the summit beside the War Memorial Tower entrance. Tour route is wheelchair accessible. Parking fee may apply.
