2024 Housatonic Heritage Walks
October 5 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Explore with knowledgeable & local historians, naturalists, and environmentalists at sites within the Housatonic River Valley: tours of historic buildings and town centers, hikes on the Appalachian Trail and other trails, walks through industrial heritage sites, a canoe paddling trip on the Housatonic River, bike rides on old country roads that have a history, behind-the-scenes tours at performing arts venues, and strolls through formal gardens and estates. All ages & all people are invited to join us!

10:30 AM–12:30 PM: GREAT BARRINGTON’S ARCHITECTURE & HISTORY – THE STORY OF GREAT BUILDINGS IN A GREAT TOWN (Great Barrington, MA)
11:00 AM–12:00 PM: 92 SEASONS OF JACOB’S PILLOW DANCE FESTIVAL (Becket, MA)
1:00–2:30 PM: GUIDED WALKING TOUR OF HISTORIC FALLS VILLAGE (Falls Village, CT)
1:00–3:00 PM: EXPLORE THE PERENNIAL PLANTS OF THE PFEIFFER ARBORETUM AT LONG POND (Great Barrington, MA)
1:00–3:00 PM: REDISCOVERING THE LOST MILL VILLAGES OF WEST PITTSFIELD: STEARNSVILLE, BARKERVILLE AND THE TILLOTSON OSCEOLA MILL (Pittsfield, MA)
