Early March Wildlife Tracking Highlights

Dear Wildlife Trackers,

Thank you for not one, but two successful events this week at the Housatonic River Valley WMA in Lenox and the Moran WMA in Windsor!

Trip Highlights:

At the Housatonic River Valley WMA we enjoyed seeing lots of beaver sign near the river, antler rub, crow and ruffed grouse tracks, leftover snow tunnels from small mammals and plenty more!

Despite the cold and windy weather today, we had a very successful trip at Moran WMA in Windsor, MA. Our highlights include lots of fresh mink tracks, coyote tracks and scat, a barred owl feather, and the unique calls of a common raven which could be heard throughout the day.
