Walk with Spring as woodland flowers emerge, shrubs burst their buds, and moods lighten. Rural Lands Executive Director Robin Sears will take a walk in the woods at various locations on Tuesdays in April and early May at 11 am (excluding April 22).

This week will be at the flat Field Farm trails in the forest with that great calcareous soil. This first of several outings will be quite early-season, so we’ll walk slowly and look with care for the earliest signs of growth. A field notebook is a nice accessory on such outings.

Snow cancels, but Robin will be there otherwise. Meet at the Trustees’ Field Farm Reservation parking lot for a one-hour slow walk on level terrain across meadow and forest. Trails may be wet.
