Tree Identification Walk with BEAT in Conway, MA

April 26 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Celebrate Arbor Day with BEAT by joining us for a free tree identification walk at the Fournier Lot located behind the Conway Grammar School on Saturday, April 26, at 10:00 AM. This informative and engaging event will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and involve slow-paced stops. Participants will be outdoors for the duration of the walk, so appropriate attire for the weather is recommended.

On this guided walk, participants will learn to identify trees by examining twigs, bark, flowers, and overall form and structure. Led by a naturalist and tree enthusiast, the walk will include tips and tricks for recognizing tree species throughout the year, regardless of whether leaves are present.

This event, organized in collaboration with the Conway Forest & Trails Committee and the Conway Open Space Committee, is free and open to the public. However, space is limited, so those interested in attending are encouraged to reserve their spot by emailing deb.donaldson@yahoo.com as soon as possible.
