Spring Amphibian Search at Pleasant Valley
Sat. Apr. 19, 6:30PM-8:00PM
Discover the incredible creatures that live on the forest floor and visit vernal pools in the spring. At this all-outdoor program, Mass Audubon will introduce you to local amphibian life while searching for species like wood frogs, red efts and spotted salamanders in their natural habitat. You’ll also learn what you can do to protect these incredible animals.
This evening program will spend time around one of the vernal pools, so waterproof shoes and a flashlight (preferably one with a red light to avoid disturbing wildlife) are great items to bring for this program.
