BUCKLAND – Town of Buckland Planning Board Notice of Public Hearing-Revisions to Zoning Bylaws RESCHEDULED The Town of Buckland Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 9, at 6:30 p.m. at Buckland Town Hall, 17 State Street. The purpose of the public hearing is to provide community members with the opportunity to comment on the proposed revisions to Buckland’s Zoning Bylaws. The proposed revisions to the Zoning Bylaws include the following: 1) Changes to the Accessory Dwelling Unit language in the bylaw to accommodate recent changes in state law 2) Addition of language promoting pollinator- friendly plantings in the following bylaw sections: 6-1, Backlots; 6-2, Cluster Development; 10, Wireless Service Facilities Bylaw; 12, Site Plan Review, 14, Large Scale Ground-Mounted Solar Electric Generating Installations; and 15, Adult-Use Recreational Marijuana Bylaw. 3) Removal of the term “mobile home”: no longer a legally relevant definition, to clarify the bylaws where they specifically apply to trailers or campers; and newer HUD homes or manufactured homes will no longer be distinguished from other single-unit dwellings in the zoning bylaws.
