Join Williamstown Rural Lands for an introduction to the Eastern Hemlock. Covering the importance of Eastern Hemlocks to the forest, their historical significance to humans, threats to their populations, their status in Massachusetts, and the importance of community science. The talk will start out at the picnic area at Mt. Hope Park, where seating is available, and then continue with an optional short stroll through the hemlocks nearby.
