After transportation, buildings are the biggest source of greenhouse gas emissions in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We need policy solutions that can help us decarbonize them—and fast. In this webinar, we’ll talk about building performance standards, one of the most promising solutions for reducing emissions from large, existing buildings. Rep. Rebecca Kislak, sponsor of legislation to set building performance standards in Rhode Island, will join with brief comments on her bill (H7850).
We’ll discuss:

– Performance standards policies currently in place (or being adopted) in New York, Boston, DC, and elsewhere
