Notice of Availability of Schedule for Preparation of Water Needs Forecasts for Public Water Suppliers with Water Management Act Permits (pdf)
An informational workshop will be held for communities in the Westfield River Basin:
Date: Tuesday, September 15, 2015
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Location: Holyoke Heritage State Park Exhibit Hall

Holyoke, MA 01040
At the workshop, MassDEP will introduce the WMA permitting process and new regulatory
requirements that may apply to permits, and DCR will review the process for developing a water needs
forecast. All public water systems and communities in the Westfield River Basin are encouraged to
attend this outreach workshop.
The target date for completion of draft water needs forecasts for public water suppliers in these basins
is September 4, 2015. Information that may be useful in developing a draft forecast should be provided
to DCR at the address in the announcement.
