The SuperSanctuary Butterfly Club will start on January 12th!

This club will meet on: Wednesdays, January 12, February 9, March 9 & April 13, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. via Zoom.

Join the the Harris Center’s new SuperSanctuary Butterfly Club, hosted by wildlife biologist Mark Ellingwood and taking its fledgling flight this winter! Each month, through illustrated slideshows, group discussion, and the Kaufman Field Guide to Butterflies of North America, we’ll learn identifying features as well as basic life history information for a dozen or so local butterfly species, with the goal of preparing for an in-person community science butterfly survey in the summer of 2022. No prior butterfly experience necessary.
